Charges Hijacking and attempted robbery West Belfast

A 24 year old man has been charged with attempted robbery, hijacking, theft and possession of a firearm in suspicious circumstances. He will appear in Belfast Laganside Court this morning (Sat 19 June).
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
A second man has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The charges relate to a hijacking and attempted armed robbery in the West Belfast area yesterday (Fri 18 June).
