Burglary, Carmel Street, South Belfast

Detectives are appealing for information about an incident in South Belfast.
Shortly before 9.30pm on Monday 8 March two men entered the home of a woman aged in her 70s at Carmel Street.
Initial enquiries suggest that the men, one armed with an iron bar and both with stockings over their heads, threatened the householder and told her to stay in a bedroom.
The room was searched and a handbag stolen. The woman was not injured.
