PSNI Serious Crime Branch arrest six men in Belfast

Officers from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch have arrested six men following a proactive operation against suspected dissident republican activity.
The men were detained after two cars were searched in the west Belfast area of County Antrim at around 10 o’clock on March 9 2010. A firearm and a number of items were seized and removed for forensic examination.
All six suspects were taken to the PSNI’s Serious Crime Suite at Antrim police station for questioning.
