Armed robbery bureau de change, Buncrana Road, Derry

Police in Derry are appealing for information following an armed robbery of a Bureau de Change on the Buncranna Road on Thursday evening (10 March).
Shortly after 8:15pm three to four men armed with firearms entered the building and demanded money from staff. They made off with a substantial sum of money in a Red Toyota van in the direction of the Border. A van believed to be the vehicle in question was discovered by Garda burnt out a short time later in the Mannerstown Cross area.
Anyone who witnessed the robbery or who has any information is asked to contact police at Strand Road on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
