Detectives are investigating an incident at Alexander Road, Armagh.
Shortly after 11.30pm on Wednesday 26 May, it was reported that damage had been caused to a house.
Initial enquiries suggest that a plastic bottle containing accelerant had been thrown onto a front step, causing damage to a front door and some smoke damage inside the house.
A family at home at the time were not injured.
Detectives are working to establish a motive.
