Attempted robbery charges, Belvoir

Four males have been charged attempted robbery and conspiracy to rob. Three of the males are in their 30s and one is aged in his 40s.

They are expected to appear at Laganside Magistrates Court this morning on Friday 28 May.

As is normal procedure, the charges are subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges are in relation to the attempted robbery of a trader driving a van in Belvoir, outside Belfast, on the evening of Wednesday 26 May.

The arrests were part of a planned operation by the Police Service of Northern Ireland Organised Crime Branch.
