Burglary, Castlereagh

Police in Castlereagh, County Antrim, are investigating a distraction burglary at the home of an elderly gentleman in the Dungoyne Park area of Ballybeen on Wednesday 12 May.
Shortly before 3:30pm the 84 year old man answered his door to a man claiming to be a plumber and asking to see the water supply in his kitchen. Two others entered and rummaged through the flat.
The elderly man became suspicious and asked them to leave. Nothing appeared to have been taken and the elderly man was unhurt but shaken by his ordeal.
