Murder of Stanley Close, 1986

A 49 year old man arrested yesterday by detectives investigating the murder of 65 year old Stanley Close, found strangled in his flat in East Belfast in August 1986, has been released unconditionally.
A 51 year old man appeared at Laganside Court on Saturday 8 May charged with the murder of Mr Close. The man was remanded in custody.
