Armed robbery, Upper Malone Road, South Belfast

Detectives in South Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery at off-licence premises on Upper Malone Road.
At approximately 7.25pm on Wednesday, 5 May, a male entered the premises. A short time later a second male, armed with a knife, also entered and demanded money. The two males took a sum of cash and quantity of cigarettes before making off on foot in the direction of Finaghy.
One of the males is described as being 5ft 8in tall and was wearing a grey hoody with orange trim. The second is described as 5ft 10in tall and was wearing a black tracksuit.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed this incident or has information in relation to it to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
