Criminal damage to vehicles, East Belfast

Police in East Belfast are appealing for information following a number of incidents of criminal damage to vehicles in the area on Wednesday night, 5 May.

At approximately 9:45pm, police received a report of a male slashing tyres in the area. Police attended the scene and noted that tyres had been slashed on 13 vehicles parked in the Inverary Drive, Larkfield Drive, Larkfield Road and Victoria Road areas.

One male has been arrested and is currently helping police with their inquiries.

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and noticed any suspicious activity to contact them at Strandtown Police Station on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, information about crime can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
