Serious stabbing, Shaw's Road, Belfast

A 20 year old man has been taken to hospital with four stab wounds to his abdomen following an incident in the early hours of this morning (Saturday 22 May).

The young man was discovered by passersby collapsed on the Shaws Road around 3:15am.  He was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital were his condition is described as serious but stable.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and noticed the young man stagger along or who may have any information regarding his assault is asked to contact detectives at Grosvenor Road on 0845 600 8000.  Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
