Armed robbery, Derry

Detectives at Strand Road are appealing for information following an armed robbery in the Springtown Road area of Derry in the early hours of Thursday 9 September.
Shortly after midnight, two males, both of whom were armed and masked, entered takeaway premises in the industrial estate. They demanded money before making off with an undisclosed sum of cash in the direction of Buncrana Road.
Detectives are investigating and would appeal to anyone with information to contact them at Strand Road police station on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, information about crime can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
