Armed robbery, Portadown

Detectives in Lurgan are appealing for information following an armed robbery at an off licence in the Church Street area of Portadown that was reported to police shortly before 9pm on September 8.
A small amount of cash was stolen when a male entered the store armed with a knife. The robber has been described as being between 40 - 50 years of age, approximately 5'8" tall, of stocky build with short light brown hair and a beard. He had a ruddy complexion and was wearing a pair of stonewashed jeans and a striped grey and cream top. He is understood to have a local accent.
No one was injured during the incident.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area of Church Street and who may have witnessed the robbery to come forward.
