Aggravated burglary, Clonmeen Craigavon

Detectives in Craigavon are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in the Clonmeen area of Drumgor.At approximately 4.20am on Wednesday morning, 8 September, two males called to a house. They returned approximately 30 minutes later and entered the house. They took a wallet from the male occupant and searched the house. They assaulted the 65 year old male occupant who sustained a head injury which required medical treatment. The males made off in the occupant's white old style 1994 Mercedes C220 car, Registration YIB 6580, with a sum of cash.
The first male is described as being small and was wearing a dark coloured hoody. The second male is described as being tall and was wearing a blue hoody.
Detectives are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or the car leaving the area or has any information in relation to the whereabouts of the car to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
