Allegation of serious sexual assault, Bangor

Detectives from the PSNI's Rape Crime Unit are appealing for information following an allegation of a serious sexual assault on a female in her 20s in the Bangor area.
It is believed the assault occurred sometime between last night and the early hours of this morning, Tuesday 7 September.
Detectives investigating are particularly keen to speak to a female motorist who picked up a female in her 20s and dropped her off in the Sunningdale/Gransha Road area of Bangor at around 6am.
This female, or anyone else with information, is asked to contact detectives at the Rape Crime Unit at Ladas Drive police station on 02890 700305. Alternatively, information about crime can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
