Shooting incident, West Belfast

Detectives in Grosvenor Road are appealing for information following a shooting incident in West Belfast on Thursday 2 September.
At approximately 9:30pm, a male was walking along Lenadoon Avenue when a salon type car with four males on board approached him. He was placed in the vehicle and taken to an alleyway in the Gibson Street area. The male was then taken from the car and shot in the leg. The culprits then made off.
The victim required hospital treatment although his injury is not believed to be life threatening at this stage.
