Male injured following shooting incident Stewartstown Road West Belfast

Detectives in West Belfast are appealing for information following a shooting incident in the Stewartstown Road area on Saturday night, 9 April.Police are working to ascertain the exact details of the incident however initial reports suggest that a scuffle broke out between three males and a group of other young males around 10.20pm. Two seventeen year old males and a sixteen year old male were injured during the scuffle. Two of them were taken to hospital however their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
During the incident a firearm was produced and a shot fired. An 18 year old male sustained a gun shot wound to his leg and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
