D DISTRICT – Cannabis Factory, Ballyvassey Court, Newtownabbey

Police in Newtownabbey have uncovered a cannabis factory at a house in Ballyvessey Court.Approximately 80 cannabis plants and cultivating equipment were discovered in the search on Thursday 8th December.
A police vehicle was damaged at the scene after youths attacked officers throwing stones and other missiles.
Police in Newtownabbey remain committed to tackling the scourge of drugs. Officers would encourage anyone with information about drug supply or dealing to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
