Arrest -1975 murder of Paul Crawford

Detectives from Serious Crime Branch have arrested a 54 year old man as part of a renewed investigation into a murder in west Belfast in 1975.
Inquiries have been re-opened into the murder of Paul Crawford (25) who was shot on the Falls Road on 12 April 1975. The shooting happened at the time of a republican feud.
Serious Crime Branch detectives have re-opened the investigation after information was forwarded by the Historical Enquiries Team which reviewed Mr Crawford's death.
The 54 year old suspect, who was arrested in west Belfast this morning, has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim police station for questioning.
