B District - Armed Robbery Beersbridge Filling Station Belfast

Detectives in East Belfast are appealing for information following the report of an armed robbery at commercial premises on the Beersbridge Road at around 12.30pm this afternoon ( Tuesday 10th April ).

It was reported that a man entered the premises armed with a knife and threatened members of staff. He is believed to have made off on foot in the direction of the Castlereagh Road with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes. There are no reports of any injuries to the staff members. The man is described as being in his late 20's and was wearing a grey hooded top, blue tracksuit bottoms with a grey stripe on the outside of each leg and blue Nike trainers with a blue Nike emblem.
