A DISTRICT - Vehicle theft, Hopefield Avenue, North Belfast

Detectives in North Belfast are appealing for information following a report of a vehicle theft from residential premises in the Hopefield Avenue area last night (Tuesday, 24th January).
At around 9pm, it was reported that three masked men entered a house in the area and threatened a male occupant during the incident. They then made off in his navy blue VW Passat vehicle stolen from outside his house. The vehicle's registration is believed to be XCZ 5540
It is not known which direction the vehicle made off towards and police are appealing for information. Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who may know of the current whereabouts of the stolen vehicle is asked to contact Antrim Road CID on 0845 600 8000.
