E District - Suspicious Approach, Parkhead Crescent, Newry
Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following the report of a suspicious approach in the Parkhead Crescent area on Friday 13th January.
It was reported that at approx 6pm as two young girls played in the street they were approached by a man driving a blue coloured van. The man spoke to one of the girls through an open window in the van and told her to get inside. The girls ran off and the van then left the area. The driver was described as being approx 60 years old, was wearing a woolly hat and spoke with a local accent.
Anyone who was in the area at approx 6pm and may have noticed anything suspicious or anyone who has any information is asked to contact CID in Ardmore on 0845 600 8000.
