C DISTRICT: Armed Robbery Upper Square Castlewellan

Detectives are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a bank in the Upper Square area of Castlewellan this morning, Tuesday 3rd July.
At approximately 10.50am a man, with a firearm in his possession, entered the bank and threatened staff before making off with a cash box
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident or anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of the Drumee Estate in Castlewellan this morning to contact Detectives in Downpatrick on 0845 600 8000.
