B DISTRICT– petrol bomb attack Rugby Ave

Detectives in Musgrave are appealing for information following a petrol bomb attack on a house in the Rugby Ave area of South Belfast last night (Fri 9 March).
Shortly after 9:30pm the occupant of the house saw a small bottle with flammable liquid had been thrown through his kitchen window. He quickly doused the flames with water. No one was injured and minimal damage was caused.
Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information is asked to contact detectives at Musgrave on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
