C DISTRICT – fire and damage property Manor Park Newtownards

Police in Newtownards are investigating a suspicious fire in the Manor Park area during the early hours of this morning (Sun 11 March).
Shortly before 4:30am it was reported that an oil tank had been set on fire. On arrival police discovered that a second oil tank was on fire and that substantial damage had also been caused to a number of properties, vehicles and fences.
We have no reports of any injuries at this stage.
