Police in Lisburn are investigating an arson attack on a home in the Bellevue Terrace area of Derriaghy during the early hours of this morning (Tues 27 March).
Around 3:30am the 54 year old female occupant of the house discovered burning material had been pushed through the letterbox. She received a burn to her right forearm as she tried to put out the fire which was properly extinguished on police arrival.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information is asked to contact police at Lisburn on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
