D DISTRICT– armed robbery bookmakers Kingways Dunmurry

Detectives in Lisburn are investigating an armed robbery at a bookmakers shop in the Kingsway area of Dunmurry last night (Fri 9 March).
Around 8pm an unknown male with a scarf over his face and a cut on his head entered the shop and threatened the assistant with a handgun. He made off with a sum of money in an unknown vehicle in the direction of Dunmurry lane.
Anyone who witnessed the robbery or who has any information is asked to contact detectives at Lisburn on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
