E DISTRICT - Armed robbery, Church Street, Warrenpoint

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information after a report of an armed robbery at commercial premises at the Church Street, Warrenpoint area (Saturday, 10th March).
Shortly after 9:05pm, it was reported that a masked man entered the premises armed with a knife. It is believed that a staff member was threatened and a sum of money was stolen during the incident. The man is reported to have made of on foot from the scene towards the Church Lane area. Enquiries are continuing.
