Information from the public is vital to assist the police in helping to prevent and detect crime. The Crimestoppers organisation recognizes that some people are uncomfortable about coming forward to the police and giving information. Crimestoppers is the answer to this problem and since it was launched in Northern Ireland in September 1996 nearly 13,400 actionable calls have been received leading to over 1100 individuals being brought before the courts and in excess of £1.2 million of property recovered.
A cash reward is available for information which leads to the arrest and charge of an offender and this too can be paid out totally anonymously.
- Remember, your call is FREE
- You will not be asked for your name
- No one will ever know it was you who made the call
A cash reward can be paid for information leading to an arrest and charge.
