Murder of Shane Cunningham - further appeal

Detectives investigating the murder on 8 July this year of Shane Cunningham have made a renewed appeal for information. The body of 38 years old Mr Cunningham was found at a house at Woodbreda Park in Belfast.
As part of the ongoing investigation police have recently delivered appeal leaflets to houses in the Newtownbreda area asking specifically for information on the whereabouts of a mobile phone. Officers are appealing for anyone who may have found a Sony Ericson mobile phone in the area anytime since the morning of July 7 this year.
Anyone with information about the phone or indeed with any information that could assist police is asked to contact detectives at the major incident room on 028 9070 0317 or 0845 600 8000. Alternatively members of the public can pass information anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
Media outlets are reminded that a 28 years old man appeared at Newtownards Magistrates court on Saturday 12 July 2008 - charged with the murder.
