Pipe bomb attack, Ardgrange, Derry
A VW Passat car has been damaged by a suspected pipe bomb in the Springtown Road area of Derry during Thursday night, 3 June. The incident happened shortly before midnight when a rear window of the car was smashed and a device was thrown inside the vehicle. A number of homes had to be evacuated while the vehicle was examined by Army Technical Officers following the explosion. There were no reports of any injuries.
