Male charged with rape, North Belfast
Detectives from the Child Abuse Investigation Unit have charged an 18-year-old male with rape, sexual activity with a child and making indecent images of children. He is expected to appear at Laganside Magistrate's Court on Saturday 6 March.
It is believed the charges are in connection with an incident in the North Belfast area earlier this week.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
