Armed Robbery, Suffolk Road Belfast

Police in West Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery of a cash-in transit van on the Suffolk Road.

At approximately 11:43 on Saturday, 14th August, a male culprit attempted to stab the driver before making off on foot towards the Lenadoon area. Another male made off in a Red VW polo.  The thieves left with a substantial sum of money and the driver was unhurt but shaken by his ordeal

The male is described as heavy set, 6'2" with a moustache. He was wearing a baseball cap, grey/blue hooded top and jeans.
