Armed robbery Ballygowan Road Belfast

Detective in Castlereagh are appealing for information following an armed robbery of a convenience store on the Ballygowan road close to the Castlereagh junction this morning (Sat 14 Aug).

Shortly before 7am a male described as being of slim build and approx 5' 11" in height entered the premises and threatened staff with what appears to have been a claw type hammer.  He made off with a quantity of cigarettes in a white Vauxhall Astra.
