Armed robbery Bookmakers, Lisburn

Police in Lisburn are appealing for information following an armed robbery of a Bookmakers shop yesterday morning (Wednesday 24 February).

Around 9:30am a man with his face covered entered the premises and threatened a member of staff with a handgun.  He forced the staff member to open the safe before making off through a back exit with a sum of money.

The robber is described as 20 to 25 years old, 5' 8" tall, and was wearing a navy blue raincoat jacket with the hood up, a black football scarf with red or white lines and black woollen gloves.
