Armed Robbery Greyabbey Post Office

Detectives are investigating a robbery at a Post Office in Main Street, Greyabbey shortly before 10.00am this morning. It is understood that two men armed with handguns and a crowbar, entered the premises demanding cash. They made off with a sum of money in a white coloured car which was recovered a short time later close to Greyabbey Cemetery.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area this morning and noticed a white coloured car in the village with a number of males on board to contact detectives at Newtownards on 0845 600 8000.
