Burglary, Ballyvessey Road, Newtownabbey

Police in Newtownabbey are appealing for information following a burglary at a house in the Ballyvessey Road area.

At approximately 12.45am on Friday morning, 26 February, four males gained entry to a house. They attempted to tie the male occupant of the house to a chair before making off with a sum of cash.

The four males were armed with screwdrivers and are described as being aged in their early 20s and all around 6ft in height.

The male occupant sustained an injury to his face and was left shaken.
