Burglary elderly couple, Park Avenue, East Belfast

Detectives in Musgrave Street are appealing for information following the burglary of an elderly couple’s home in the Park Ave area of East Belfast last night (Saturday 20 February).
The 79 year old couple returned home to find it had been broken into via a rear window and the house ransacked. A sum of money, including their home heating grant had been stolen.
Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any activity in the area especially between the hours of 7pm and 8:30pm to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
