Car set alight Fernagh Drive Newtownabbey

Police in Newtownabbey are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage to a vehicle in the Fernagh Road area in the early hours of this morning (Mon 2 Aug).
Around 5:30am a silver Ford Fiesta was set alight. The car was completely destroyed; and scorch damage caused to the front door of the house. A man and his wife were in the property at the time but were uninjured.
While a motive for the attack has yet to be established police are not investigating the incident as a sectarian or racially motivated.
