Possession of explosives charges, Armagh

A 21-year-old man was charged on Saturday 13 March with two charges of possession of explosives. He is also charged with possession of items likely to be of use to terrorism.
A 23-year-old man was charged with two counts of possession of explosives.
They are expected to appear at Newry Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
As is normal procedure, the charges are subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service.
They relate to an operation against suspected dissident republican activity in Armagh on Thursday 11 March.
A further three arrests - two males both aged 24-years-old and a 45-year-old female - were made on Saturday 13 March as a result of searches of a number of houses in the Armagh City area.
