Robbery, Fountain Hill, Antrim

Detectives are appealing for information about a robbery in Antrim.

Just after 10am on Monday, 8 February, a member of staff working outside a fast food restaurant at Fountain Hill was approached by a male - armed with what appeared to be a handgun - who forced her inside the building.

The man then stole a small sum of money from a cash register and made off towards a grass embankment in the direction of the Stiles estate.

The thief is described as 30-35 years of age, 5ft 4in - 5ft 6in height and of medium build. He was wearing blue/black jacket and blue denim jeans, and was carrying a blue and green travel bag.
