Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a recent road traffic collision in south Belfast.

Constable Woods said: “Officers received a report on Monday, 29th April at approximately 9am that a collision had occurred in the Upper Lisburn Road area outside a cafe involving a white van and cyclist.

“The cyclist sustained a knee injury – but did not require hospital treatment. As part of our investigation we are keen to speak with the driver of the van and also a passenger who was inside the vehicle at the time.

“We are also keen to hear from any witnesses who were in the area at the time and noticed what happened or who may have CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone footage.

“Anyone who can help with our ongoing enquiries is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 292 29/04/24.”
