Assistant Chief Constable Mark McEwan is responsible for the Crime Department.
Mark has twenty-two years’ policing experience. Leaving the Police Service of Northern Ireland in 2017, Mark moved to the Metropolitan Police Service in London joining the transformation team. He gained promotion to the rank of Commander leading on crime prevention, inclusion and engagement.
In March 2020, Mark commenced a secondment with the Police Service of Northern Ireland as Assistant Chief Constable with responsibility for the newly formed Community Safety Department.
