ICS Operations Manager:

Salary: £53,939 to £62,719

The ICS (Information and Communication Services) Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall management, support, upgrade, enhancement and ongoing delivery of all deployed ICT infrastructure and systems within ICS.  They will contribute to the ongoing development of the ICT and Digital Policing strategy providing strategic advice to management.

The ICS Operations Manager will ensure maximum operational benefit by conducting strategic planning and development of ICS operations services to support operational policing, and will ensure services are delivered in the most effective and efficient way, meeting long term business objectives, availing of collaboration opportunities to improve service and reduce costs, ensuring that services are procured in accordance with organisational policy.

In addition, the ICS Operations Manager will plan and manage allocated ICS operations budget for branch – this budget is approximately £25m.
