For reference, PSNI website currently hosts a document citing "jaywalking" as a fixed penalty offence under offence code 5008001.

Please provide any recent annual statistics regarding the number of policing interventions for jaywalking.

Please also advise the legal basis for any such policing intervention, and any which makes jaywalking a specific offence.
