Training & Development
Chief Superintendent Philip Knox is Head of Training & Development at the Police College with senior responsibility for all training and development within the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
Superintendent Catherine Magee is Head of Operational Programmes at the College. This includes responsibility for the Student Officer Training & Probationer Development Programmes, Leadership & Crime Training, Combined Operational Training and Special Operations Training.
Carol Mounce is Grade 7 in the Learning Support business area responsible for services within the Police College that support training. This includes the Performance, Audit & Assessment Unit, the Learning Technologies Unit (HYDRA, E Learning and ICT Training), the Trainer Development Unit, Premises and Facilities Management, College Administration, District Training Co-ordination and the Human Rights Training Advisor.
Chief Inspector Glenn McFarland is Head of Foundation Training and is responsible for the Student Officer Training Programme and the Probationer Development Programme.
Detective Chief Inspector Gillian Kearney is Head of Crime Training responsible for Investigative Training, Custody Training, CID Training and Leadership Training.
Combined Operational Training
T/Chief Inspector John Keers is the Head of Combined Operational Training responsible for Firearms, Public Order, Search, Traffic and Driver, First Aid, Dog, Chemical, Biological, Radioactive and Nuclear (CBRN) and Tactical Training.
