A civil dispute covers legal issues which are not primarily governed by criminal law.
Common civil disputes are:
- Property boundary disputes.
- Condition of goods after purchase.
- Contract law.
- Recovery of property after the breakdown of a relationship.
- Excessive noise complaint.

Generally we do not become involved in civil disputes unless a criminal offence has been committed or to prevent a breach of the peace.
You may find it useful to contact your solicitor to discuss your dispute prior to contacting us.
If you have an excessive noise complaint, you should direct this to your local council office who will work to resolve the issue.
