Police in Strabane held a successful trailer marking event in Artigarvan on Friday, 6th December with almost two dozen trailers marked.

Police Service Crime Prevention Officer (CPO) Mitch Freedman said: "Trailer marking is a tried and tested crime prevention measure which deters criminals and assists police to establish the legitimate owners of vehicles.

"We want to say a massive 'thank you' to everyone involved in our trailer marking event in Artigarvan, which was organised by our Strabane Neighbourhood Policing Team.

"This was a busy event with a total of 23 trailers marked during the course of the five-and-a-half hour session, making it one of the busiest held recently.
"Thank you to the business owner for use of their premises and to all the people who came along, including Chair of the Derry and Strabane Policing and Community Safety Partnership Alderman Darren Guy."
