Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a report of a robbery at retail premises in east Belfast on Friday, February 21.

Detective Sergeant Leeman said: "It was reported just after 7.30pm that a man entered the premises in the Woodstock Road area, pushed a female member of staff and took a quantity of cash from a till before fleeing on foot.

"Thankfully, the employee was not physically injured but she has been left shaken by the incident.

"The suspect was described as being aged in his mid 20s and wearing navy tracksuit bottoms, a black puffer jacket and a red peaked cap.

"Our enquiries are ongoing, and I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything, or who may have CCTV, dashcam or other video footage to contact us on 101, quoting reference 1548 of 21/2/25."
