Detectives are appealing for information following a report of robbery at the Boucher Place area of Belfast on Monday 20th May.

Detective Sergeant Faulkner said: “Shortly after 5:50pm, it was reported that a male delivery driver had parked his vehicle across from commercial premises when he was approached by two men with scarves covering their faces. It was reported one of the men was armed with a metal pole, as the other man demanded money from the driver. An altercation occurred and the men made off with a sum of money from the scene in a red coloured vehicle towards the Boucher Crescent area.  The driver received a small cut to his leg during the incident.

“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances and police would appeal to anyone with any information to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 1469 20/05/24.
